Narrative:
A loss of standard separation was lost between air carrier Y (A320) and aircraft X (BE55) both being vectored for an ILS approach to runway 1L at iad. Though turned and descended; air carrier Y turn and descent rate were much less than standard. Aircraft X was vectored off the localizer prior to air carrier Y being turned on the base. Again; though air carrier Y was instructed to expedite the descent; the turn rate and descent rate resulted in a loss of separation. Traffic was exchanged between both prior to the loss.

Title: PCT CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT 4000 FT DURING VECTORS FOR IAD FINAL WHEN ONE ACFT DSNDED AT A SLOW RATE AND SEPARATION WAS LOST.
Narrative: A LOSS OF STANDARD SEPARATION WAS LOST BTWN ACR Y (A320) AND ACFT X (BE55) BOTH BEING VECTORED FOR AN ILS APCH TO RWY 1L AT IAD. THOUGH TURNED AND DSNDED; ACR Y TURN AND DSCNT RATE WERE MUCH LESS THAN STANDARD. ACFT X WAS VECTORED OFF THE LOC PRIOR TO ACR Y BEING TURNED ON THE BASE. AGAIN; THOUGH ACR Y WAS INSTRUCTED TO EXPEDITE THE DSCNT; THE TURN RATE AND DSCNT RATE RESULTED IN A LOSS OF SEPARATION. TFC WAS EXCHANGED BTWN BOTH PRIOR TO THE LOSS.
