Narrative:
Captain asked the flight attendants to take seats early because of storms and turbulence in the area of mia. Just as he said that; the aircraft dropped and jolted severely. The #2 flight attendant was heading for the aft galley holding on to the overhead bins. I don't know how she got to the back without getting hurt. All seats were taken; no where for her to go. When she made it to the aft galley; she made a PA that #4 flight attendant fell down. All of the deadheading flight attendants got up to assist. The #4 flight attendant was in pain in her left elbow area. It was swelling up and it turned red. I sat at the 4R door for landing since she could not operate the door in case of an emergency!
