Narrative:
I was conducting radar training at the huf radar position. Trainee gave descent clearance to aircraft Y to FL230. Pilot gave readback of '20.' before I could intercede; aircraft Y began a descent to FL220 and separation was lost. Supplemental information from acn 707477: aircraft #2 was level in-flight northbound at FL220. Aircraft #1 was given a descent clearance from FL240 to FL230. The readback from aircraft #1 was broken and not reverified by trainer or instructor because of other duties being accomplished. Aircraft #1 descended to FL220. Evasive action was taken by instructor to climb the aircraft back up to FL230.
