Narrative:
Rejected takeoff due to captain loss of airspeed indication at approximately 90 KIAS; taxied clear of the runway; and airspeed indications returned to normal as verified with other cockpit indicators. Notified tower; chief pilot and operations of occurrences. Waited for brakes to cool down; reviewed performance charts; aom and QRH procedures. Made the decision to take off again since indications were back to normal in agreement with ZZZ chief pilot. On second takeoff roll just after V1; captain airspeed indication failed; continued the takeoff. After airborne complied with QRH procedures; system restored using first officer's CADC; continued flight to destination. Supplemental information from acn 706313: after consideration of this event that took place; I now realize we should have returned to the blocks for maintenance to check the system.
