Narrative:
Working on aircraft while putting the controls back in; I got the cannon plugs to the idle lockout reversed. Involved was myself and inspector. I guess the aircraft flew 1 leg and during pushback the next flight out is when the crew got an engine idle lock fail on EICAS. I'm not sure what happened next. I was informed about this morning just before I went off shift.
