Narrative:

After taking off from runway 1 at geu; aircraft was departing geu class D airspace on right downwind to the south. At 800 ft AGL; airspeed approximately 80 mph; motor RPM 2750; there was the sound of an impact; and a fraction of a second later; aircraft began to vibrate violently. Engine was shut down by turning off magneto switch and vibration stopped. Geu remained within glide distance and aircraft landed uneventfully on runway 1 and came to rest on a taxiway to the left (west) of runway 1. Subsequent inspection of the aircraft revealed that 1 blade of the propeller was missing; motor mounts were damaged and loose; and there was cosmetic damage to lower cowl. No other damage to aircraft or other property and no personal injury. After vibration began radio failed to transmit and landing was made without authority/authorized from geu tower.

Title: A G109 LOST A PROP BLADE ON TKOF FROM GEU. THE PLT SHUT DOWN THE ENG AND RETURNED TO LWOC AT GEU.

Narrative: AFTER TAKING OFF FROM RWY 1 AT GEU; ACFT WAS DEPARTING GEU CLASS D AIRSPACE ON R DOWNWIND TO THE S. AT 800 FT AGL; AIRSPD APPROX 80 MPH; MOTOR RPM 2750; THERE WAS THE SOUND OF AN IMPACT; AND A FRACTION OF A SECOND LATER; ACFT BEGAN TO VIBRATE VIOLENTLY. ENG WAS SHUT DOWN BY TURNING OFF MAGNETO SWITCH AND VIBRATION STOPPED. GEU REMAINED WITHIN GLIDE DISTANCE AND ACFT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY ON RWY 1 AND CAME TO REST ON A TXWY TO THE L (W) OF RWY 1. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION OF THE ACFT REVEALED THAT 1 BLADE OF THE PROP WAS MISSING; MOTOR MOUNTS WERE DAMAGED AND LOOSE; AND THERE WAS COSMETIC DAMAGE TO LOWER COWL. NO OTHER DAMAGE TO ACFT OR OTHER PROPERTY AND NO PERSONAL INJURY. AFTER VIBRATION BEGAN RADIO FAILED TO XMIT AND LNDG WAS MADE WITHOUT AUTH FROM GEU TWR.
