Narrative:
We were illuminated by two bursts of blue green laser lights on approach to lax airport. We were on final to runway 24L and two bursts of laser lights hit us while on final approach. The captain was heads down running the checklist or something appropriate for phase of flight; and saw the flashes; but was not hit in the eyes as I was. I left the autoplt engaged until I was sure I could see properly and that there were not any more flashes. The lights came from the area just between us and the runway; and were separated by approximately 100 ft. Air carrier Y was on approach in front of us and also reported the event. My vision appears to me to be normal at this time.
