Narrative:
After takeoff on the nobly 2 SID; selected navigation at 400 ft and given normal speed. Autoplt was engaged at 10000 ft or so. Prior to cuzen we were given direct nobly. At FL230 we were contacted by ZFW and asked what fix we were proceeding to. I replied lit. He then said for us to fly direct ortro intersection and that they have been experiencing dropouts of cobug and ortro from many aircraft. He said that there was no conflict. We continued without further incident.

Title: MD80 FLT CREW HAS A TRACK HDG DEV DURING THE NOBLY 2 RNAV DEP FROM DFW.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF ON THE NOBLY 2 SID; SELECTED NAV AT 400 FT AND GIVEN NORMAL SPD. AUTOPLT WAS ENGAGED AT 10000 FT OR SO. PRIOR TO CUZEN WE WERE GIVEN DIRECT NOBLY. AT FL230 WE WERE CONTACTED BY ZFW AND ASKED WHAT FIX WE WERE PROCEEDING TO. I REPLIED LIT.
