Narrative:
After 20 mins of a training mission at 7000 ft MSL the oil pressure dropped to almost zero. The instructor pilot declared mayday and flew a straight-in approach. The engine was running at idle power until a safe landing was made. ZZZ2 class B airspace may have been penetrated; however; by that time the pilot was talking to tower and too busy to check on the terminal map. We did not squawk 7700; although it might have been a good idea to let ZZZ2 approach know about our problem.
