Narrative:
At approximately 80 KTS; cockpit filled with oily acrid smell and odor (no smoke); irritating to eyes then dissipated rapidly within 5 seconds. Takeoff was continued. This was after the same aircraft had smoke in the cockpit the day prior. Need further investigation of problem by maintenance.

Title: B737-800 FLT CREW HAS FUMES IN COCKPIT DURING TKOF.
Narrative: AT APPROX 80 KTS; COCKPIT FILLED WITH OILY ACRID SMELL AND ODOR (NO SMOKE); IRRITATING TO EYES THEN DISSIPATED RAPIDLY WITHIN 5 SECONDS. TKOF WAS CONTINUED. THIS WAS AFTER THE SAME ACFT HAD SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT THE DAY PRIOR. NEED FURTHER INVESTIGATION OF PROB BY MAINT.
