Narrative:
Threats first encountered on flight were 2 MEL's (captain DME inoperative and left engine oil filter inoperative) and lots of radio congestion. Upon getting to the active runway we were cleared for takeoff. At 80 KTS I made the normal call and noticed amber pws inoperative annunciation. I've had this before and elected not to notify the captain; we were in good WX; pws fails all the time. Approximately 110 KTS I noticed a haze in cockpit getting thicker and an odor acrid or oily smell. I reported it to the captain; who was making a HUD takeoff for currency. He then recognized the smell and smoke and proceeded with rejected takeoff. Abort was made smooth but rapid. When we decelerated and engines idle; the smoke and fumes abated on their own. Contacted tower and flight attendants. There was no smoke the cabin. Declared an emergency and were followed to gate by fire trucks. 3 flight attendants were assessed for minor neck and back pain. No passenger complained. A thorough maintenance check of all system on the aircraft.
