Air carrier X inquired about runway 22 being grooved. Runway 22 is not grooved and it's published on the charts that it is. Air carrier X stated that this information is calculated into aircraft performance.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that runway 4/22 is not grooved and that a NOTAM was issued stating that fact. There is runway improvement work underway now which includes grooving the runway; however; no completion date is given.

Title: AN ACR PLT QUESTIONED IF RWY 22 WAS GROOVED IN ORDER TO CALCULATE ACFT PERFORMANCE. THE CTLR STATED THAT RWY 22 WAS NOT GROOVED AS PUBLISHED ON THE CHARTS.

Narrative: ACR X INQUIRED ABOUT RWY 22 BEING GROOVED. RWY 22 IS NOT GROOVED AND IT'S PUBLISHED ON THE CHARTS THAT IT IS. ACR X STATED THAT THIS INFO IS CALCULATED INTO ACFT PERFORMANCE.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THAT RWY 4/22 IS NOT GROOVED AND THAT A NOTAM WAS ISSUED STATING THAT FACT. THERE IS RWY IMPROVEMENT WORK UNDERWAY NOW WHICH INCLUDES GROOVING THE RWY; HOWEVER; NO COMPLETION DATE IS GIVEN.
