Narrative:
I worked the MEL for the automatic mode being inoperative on the pressure controller. I replaced the controller with a new one. I did not remember to consult the MEL manual to see what maintenance procedures had been taken to MEL the controller by a previous station. The outflow valve hoses had been disconnected. The aircraft landed and could not depressurize through 'automatic' mode. This generated a call to maintenance. This is all the information available to me at this time involving this incident.
