Tire gauge left wheel well draped over fluid lines. When maintenance picked up they said they were looking for it; but didn't know where they left it. Effective tool program which is followed.

Title: A B737-400 PARKED AT GATE. FO MAKING WALKAROUND CHK DISCOVERED TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE IN L WHEEL WELL DRAPED OVER HYD LINES.
Narrative: TIRE GAUGE LEFT WHEEL WELL DRAPED OVER FLUID LINES. WHEN MAINT PICKED UP THEY SAID THEY WERE LOOKING FOR IT; BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHERE THEY LEFT IT. EFFECTIVE TOOL PROGRAM WHICH IS FOLLOWED.
