Narrative:
At departure time: pneumatic air start/air cart failed and filled the cockpit and cabin with smoke/fumes. The jetway at 1L was still connected; so we had the purser open the door and begin deplaning the passenger. We had the second jetway pulled up to door 2L and commenced deplaning through that door as well.
