Narrative:
The inbound flight to ZZZ1 had 2 write-ups concerning a sticky L-1 girt bar and loose fabric on the L-2 girt bar. The ZZZ1 mechanic lubed the L-1 girt bar and re-attached the loose fabric on the L-2 girt bar and signed off the 2 write-ups. Upon arrival in ZZZ2; a mechanic met the flight; reviewed the logbook and informed me that the L-2 girt bar write-up required an additional airworthiness signoff. I had no idea this was required. It took the mechanic 5 seconds to correct the L-2 problem.
