Narrative:
After receiving taxi clearance; I taxied to the departure end of runway/displaced threshold runway 30R. I received takeoff clearance and departed on the adjacent taxiway. Just after liftoff; I noted my error. I contacted tower and apologized as I maneuvered over to runway 30R. There were no other ground traffic movements in the area. Factors that contributed to my error were my inattn; dusk lighting; the departure point was at the south end of the displaced threshold which is approximately 3700 ft from the runway threshold. I did not expect to see hold markings; the taxiway was as wide as most runways I take off from; and runway/taxiway markings that I did not notice or see. The tower controller may have been busy with other tasks and did not notice my wrong location for departure.

Narrative: AFTER RECEIVING TAXI CLRNC; I TAXIED TO THE DEP END OF RWY/DISPLACED THRESHOLD RWY 30R. I RECEIVED TKOF CLRNC AND DEPARTED ON THE ADJACENT TXWY. JUST AFTER LIFTOFF; I NOTED MY ERROR. I CONTACTED TWR AND APOLOGIZED AS I MANEUVERED OVER TO RWY 30R. THERE WERE NO OTHER GND TFC MOVEMENTS IN THE AREA. FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTED TO MY ERROR WERE MY INATTN; DUSK LIGHTING; THE DEP POINT WAS AT THE S END OF THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD WHICH IS APPROX 3700 FT FROM THE RWY THRESHOLD. I DID NOT EXPECT TO SEE HOLD MARKINGS; THE TXWY WAS AS WIDE AS MOST RWYS I TAKE OFF FROM; AND RWY/TXWY MARKINGS THAT I DID NOT NOTICE OR SEE. THE TWR CTLR MAY HAVE BEEN BUSY WITH OTHER TASKS AND DID NOT NOTICE MY WRONG LOCATION FOR DEP.
