Narrative:
Fatigue report: the trips that air carrier is building for pilots are getting worse. I just flew the worst trip yet and I am fatigued. After flying all night; air carrier expects me to have a less than minimum layover and fly another 5 hours within a 24 hour period. Upon landing we proceeded to the hotel. After getting to and riding the people mover and arrive at the hotel; I called the crew desk and told them we were at the hotel and would need 9 hours. Crew schedule was understanding and I told her we couldn't push back until XA30. Here is how the trip turned out. On the way to las; I was reassigned to fly the next morning to den from las. I tried to sleep the best I could in las. After landing and parked at the gate I grabbed my bags and the trip finally caught up to me. As I was walking to my deadhead flight; I almost collapsed from the fatigue. My chest hurt; my eyes felt heavy; my body weak; and I was slightly disoriented. I made it to my flight and tried to close my eyes. I did sleep a little and am still having difficulty falling asleep tonight. My next trip is in 3 days and I am not sure I will be ready to fly it. When is the FAA going to step in and stop air carrier from building these unsafe trips.
