Narrative:

During the landing phase at atl runway 28; we received an egpws aural alert 'terrain; terrain' at approximately 100 ft AGL and continued all the way to landing. We were on a normal descent in VMC; following the ILS and on GS into the runway when this occurred. Being that we were in VMC and landing assured we chose not to comply with the alert and continue the landing. The landing occurred without incident. Runway 28 is a fairly new runway for atlanta; and although the ILS information is updated in the FMS; I believe there is a possibility that the terrain information for this runway may not be updated in the egpws database for this; or all; the crj aircraft.

Narrative: DURING THE LNDG PHASE AT ATL RWY 28; WE RECEIVED AN EGPWS AURAL ALERT 'TERRAIN; TERRAIN' AT APPROX 100 FT AGL AND CONTINUED ALL THE WAY TO LNDG. WE WERE ON A NORMAL DSCNT IN VMC; FOLLOWING THE ILS AND ON GS INTO THE RWY WHEN THIS OCCURRED. BEING THAT WE WERE IN VMC AND LNDG ASSURED WE CHOSE NOT TO COMPLY WITH THE ALERT AND CONTINUE THE LNDG. THE LNDG OCCURRED WITHOUT INCIDENT. RWY 28 IS A FAIRLY NEW RWY FOR ATLANTA; AND ALTHOUGH THE ILS INFO IS UPDATED IN THE FMS; I BELIEVE THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE TERRAIN INFO FOR THIS RWY MAY NOT BE UPDATED IN THE EGPWS DATABASE FOR THIS; OR ALL; THE CRJ ACFT.
