Narrative:
Working R34; about 16-20 aircraft in sector. Beacon code X pops up on scope near hanksville; ut; at FL380. First thought was target jump or ghost target. Did flight plan readout on code. Flight plan for air carrier X brought up route; aircraft still 100 mi prior to entering my airspace. Confirmed with traffic in sector aircraft was real. (Contrail in correct area moving west.) tracked aircraft for 80 mi ground speed about 550-600 KTS. Track was heading towards natcf ranges; and disappeared about 25 mi prior to natcf boundary.
