Narrative:
Tonight; numerous aircraft departed and would not 'tag up' on our stars. Additionally; many of these aircraft would not handoff or would show incorrect scratchpad information. This was a very dangerous situation at times; because controllers were inundated with traffic and WX. I have frequently submitted complaints that have been 'looked into' by our automation department; but seems nothing is ever repaired.
