Narrative:
On nov/wed/06; I was assigned to work on air carrier Y aircraft. I was assigned work card to lubricate left main gear truck pivot pin. I was unaware that I greased truck pivot pin with aeroshell 7. I was notified by lead technician of this error and greased with the proper grease outlined on work card. Was not familiar with the other carrier's work cards. Spoke with lead technician about this matter; and will be sure to follow work cards more thoroughly. Used incorrect grease; thought it was compatible.
