Narrative:
I was flight attendant #1. Approximately 10 mins after takeoff; a huge loud boom/bang sounded from the right engine; followed by shaking of aircraft. I had just gotten out of my jump seat when this happened. I returned to my seat and buckled in; and waited for captain to call. He wanted the right engine checked for fire; smoke; spark; etc. None seen. We returned to ZZZ landing with only left engine in use. When the boom happened flight attendant #2 did not feel safe in her jump seat. So she took a seat in xxd. She thought tail cone had gotten damaged or jettisoned. Passenger were calm. Captain gave us announcement saying there would be a delay after touchdown before proceeding to the gate.
