Narrative:
I decided to submit this report on a flight. This was a ferry flight from dfw to ZZZ taking the aircraft to the maintenance center. Halfway to ZZZ we received a message over ACARS that read: 'after takeoff...ramp services advise us they have leftover bags loaded in the mid and aft compartment. The 780 pounds of bags caused an out of balance aft ZFW limit to exceed by 1.1 mac...TA/loads.' the aircraft handled normally and we would not have known it was out of balance if we had not received the message. The flight was uneventful other than receiving the ACARS message and it did not require us to alter any normal procedures.
