Narrative:
We were swbound on V21; approaching MMM; 12000 ft MSL. Our skywatch system popped a 'traffic' warning; converging aircraft at 200-300 ft below. We pulled up and looked for the traffic; which very soon passed directly under us; at 400 ft or so below. ATC had given us no warning of the traffic at all. We were on an IFR plan.

Title: BEECH BE36 FLT CREW HAS A TFC ALERT DURING CRUISE AND TAKES EVASIVE ACTION.
Narrative: WE WERE SWBOUND ON V21; APCHING MMM; 12000 FT MSL. OUR SKYWATCH SYS POPPED A 'TFC' WARNING; CONVERGING ACFT AT 200-300 FT BELOW. WE PULLED UP AND LOOKED FOR THE TFC; WHICH VERY SOON PASSED DIRECTLY UNDER US; AT 400 FT OR SO BELOW. ATC HAD GIVEN US NO WARNING OF THE TFC AT ALL. WE WERE ON AN IFR PLAN.
