Narrative:

My crew and I were to replace both 90 degree and 120 degree flap gear boxes as well as a full gear lube; logbook item and non routine items. At the same time both engines had heavy jobs requiring hydraulics to remain off most of the shift. After the gear boxes were mounted; we were unable to check their operation. Next the engines were leak checked. Then we came to the end of our shift. I did a verbal turnover. This event was brought to my attention at the beginning of my shift sat.
