Narrative:

While removing the right landing gear from aircraft an incident occurred involving several employees almost causing a fatal accident to one of them due to handling of the wrong equipment provided by the company to remove the mentioned item. An engine car hoist used to do the job failed because 1 leg section collapsed sending the landing gear assembly to the ground and almost ripping the head off of one of the mechanics; hitting one slightly in the leg and causing back pain to another when he tried to prevent the same from falling.
