Narrative:

At approximately 5000 ft while being vectored for a visual approach; #1 flight attendant alerted the cockpit to an altercation between passenger in the forward cabin. The first officer; PNF; was communicating with the #1 flight attendant; alerted the captain of a possible fight in the cabin. The captain declared a level 1 security threat with TRACON; requested priority handling and for law enforcement to meet the aircraft. An ACARS message was sent to dispatch informing them of the level 1 declaration. The aircraft was cleared for a visual approach; landed and docked at gate. Law enforcement met the aircraft. Airport police instructed that all passenger deplane and that those involved be pointed out to them by the #1 flight attendant. Law enforcement interviewed those involved and subsequently released all.

AN ACARS MESSAGE WAS SENT TO DISPATCH INFORMING THEM OF THE LEVEL 1 DECLARATION. THE ACFT WAS CLRED FOR A VISUAL APCH; LANDED AND DOCKED AT GATE. LAW ENFORCEMENT MET THE ACFT. ARPT POLICE INSTRUCTED THAT ALL PAX DEPLANE AND THAT THOSE INVOLVED BE POINTED OUT TO THEM BY THE #1 FLT ATTENDANT. LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERVIEWED THOSE INVOLVED AND SUBSEQUENTLY RELEASED ALL.
