Narrative:
Climbing out of ord we heard a humming noise. At about FL210 the noise became a very high pitch squeal. We decided it was the communication door left open. After trying to call company several times by radio; we made the decision to divert to the nearest airport; which was ind and fix the problem. Landed without any problem on runway 23R; taxied to the gate and had the problem fixed.
