Placard of r-hand air conditioning pack as per MEL 21A; accomplished maintenance procedures manual 21-1A. Disconnected air conditioning sense line as per figure 1; which shows sense line on l-hand pack. I should have disconnected sense line from r-hand pack. MEL 21-1A step 3 does not say to disconnect affected pack line; just disconnect the line. It's not clear; and figure 1 is confusing. Talked to maintenance control and lead tech reviewed procedures; technician lead agrees MEL and mpm are not clear on procedures. MEL and mpm unclr on procedure; time constraints; delay of departure time.
