Narrative:
We were asked for an immediate takeoff without delay from runway 25L; after complying and right after takeoff ATC controller called us and asked us to call when we arrived at destination for a possible pilot deviation. When we arrived I called the number and spoke with a mr X who he said was the supervisor on duty at the time; he stated that when we were given taxi instructions and expect runway 25L for departure; we had failed to hold short of runway 25L. Me and my first officer had looked at our charts and were aware of the hot spot in the vicinity; as we taxied along to the runway; we moved along a very dark taxiway and slowly we approached toward the end as I stopped the aircraft; we had runway 13/31 on the left and runway 25L on the right. The controller stated that the area is well marked; and also well illuminated for any pilot to see it. Me and my first officer both concurred that we never even saw what resembles a hold short line; and we totally disagree with the controller as to the area being illuminated and surely not well marked.

Title: EMB-145 FLT CREW HAS A RWY INCURSION AT MKE.
Narrative: WE WERE ASKED FOR AN IMMEDIATE TKOF WITHOUT DELAY FROM RWY 25L; AFTER COMPLYING AND RIGHT AFTER TKOF ATC CTLR CALLED US AND ASKED US TO CALL WHEN WE ARRIVED AT DEST FOR A POSSIBLE PLTDEV. WHEN WE ARRIVED I CALLED THE NUMBER AND SPOKE WITH A MR X WHO HE SAID WAS THE SUPVR ON DUTY AT THE TIME; HE STATED THAT WHEN WE WERE GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS AND EXPECT RWY 25L FOR DEP; WE HAD FAILED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 25L. ME AND MY FO HAD LOOKED AT OUR CHARTS AND WERE AWARE OF THE HOT SPOT IN THE VICINITY; AS WE TAXIED ALONG TO THE RWY; WE MOVED ALONG A VERY DARK TXWY AND SLOWLY WE APCHED TOWARD THE END AS I STOPPED THE ACFT; WE HAD RWY 13/31 ON THE L AND RWY 25L ON THE R. THE CTLR STATED THAT THE AREA IS WELL MARKED; AND ALSO WELL ILLUMINATED FOR ANY PLT TO SEE IT. ME AND MY FO BOTH CONCURRED THAT WE NEVER EVEN SAW WHAT RESEMBLES A HOLD SHORT LINE; AND WE TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THE CTLR AS TO THE AREA BEING ILLUMINATED AND SURELY NOT WELL MARKED.
