Narrative:

On taxi out today; we noticed again for the third week in a row; that an air carrier (registration number only) with a different paint job was using the air carrier's call sign. There was no confusion this week; but there was confusion 2 weeks ago. We called for taxi and were told to wait and follow an air carrier. A different air carrier paint job taxied by us and we sat there waiting for the original air carrier. After a few mins; with no air carrier paint job in sight; we questioned ground control. They in fact said it was the plane with the other paint job. No harm; no foul during these last few weeks; but if we are trying to minimize ground confusion/incursions then call signs should match the paint job.
