Narrative:
Aircraft came out of maintenance for a door sheet metal repair. Did an intense preflight on interior and exterior of aircraft. Everything good. Taxi out and takeoff were normal. Passing through 1500 ft called flaps up VNAV. VNAV would not engage. Recycled autothrottle switch. No help. First officer did after takeoff checklist and noticed we were not pressurizing. Suspected squat switch problem. Turned aircraft over to first officer. Called dispatch and maintenance. Since we were close to okk all decided to continue to ord for maintenance. All worked out well. First officer did a great job handling aircraft and ATC as I was on the radio with company. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter did not receive any feedback from the company so the actual cause of this incident remains unknown. He believes his original diagnosis is most likely correct.
