Narrative:
Inbound captain turned over slight vibe in aircraft during climb; not too bad. We were late due to late inbound departing mco trying to make up time; at 12000 ft at 330 KIAS we got vibe. I had pre-briefed flight attendant regarding inbound pilots to stay seated for possible vibe. We checked with flight attendant when we got vibe; they noticed it; and we troubleshot. Vibe went away with right rudder input every time regardless of altitude or speed. We completed log write-up; completed vibe sheet. Flight attendant reported passenger noticed abnormal operations and queried. We told them we knew about 'shimmy' and would address it in ZZZ. I made calls to maintenance to remove aircraft from passenger service. I called outbound captain to relay my concerns; aircraft was released. I am sure maintenance did everything required of the maintenance tips; but I wouldn't fly it regardless. No way this aircraft should have been sent into passenger service with the current problem. Maybe maintenance limits need to be reexamined; but I'll bet this aircraft comes back with the same hit soon; especially when the pilots are pay protected and don't worry about leaving an unworthy aircraft on the ground. Dispatch made inquiries; but the bottom-line is this aircraft went flying with a known flight control problem; staunchly reported by preceding flight crew. Makes me reconsider sending my family on the marginal maintenance of this air carrier; particularly the A320. Please respond to maintenance tolerance on the known anomaly.

Title: A320 FLT CREW REPORTS AIRFRAME VIBRATION THAT DISAPPEARS WITH RIGHT RUDDER INPUT.
Narrative: INBOUND CAPT TURNED OVER SLIGHT VIBE IN ACFT DURING CLB; NOT TOO BAD. WE WERE LATE DUE TO LATE INBOUND DEPARTING MCO TRYING TO MAKE UP TIME; AT 12000 FT AT 330 KIAS WE GOT VIBE. I HAD PRE-BRIEFED FLT ATTENDANT REGARDING INBOUND PLTS TO STAY SEATED FOR POSSIBLE VIBE. WE CHKED WITH FLT ATTENDANT WHEN WE GOT VIBE; THEY NOTICED IT; AND WE TROUBLESHOT. VIBE WENT AWAY WITH R RUDDER INPUT EVERY TIME REGARDLESS OF ALT OR SPD. WE COMPLETED LOG WRITE-UP; COMPLETED VIBE SHEET. FLT ATTENDANT RPTED PAX NOTICED ABNORMAL OPS AND QUERIED. WE TOLD THEM WE KNEW ABOUT 'SHIMMY' AND WOULD ADDRESS IT IN ZZZ. I MADE CALLS TO MAINT TO REMOVE ACFT FROM PAX SVC. I CALLED OUTBOUND CAPT TO RELAY MY CONCERNS; ACFT WAS RELEASED. I AM SURE MAINT DID EVERYTHING REQUIRED OF THE MAINT TIPS; BUT I WOULDN'T FLY IT REGARDLESS. NO WAY THIS ACFT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT INTO PAX SVC WITH THE CURRENT PROB. MAYBE MAINT LIMITS NEED TO BE REEXAMINED; BUT I'LL BET THIS ACFT COMES BACK WITH THE SAME HIT SOON; ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PLTS ARE PAY PROTECTED AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT LEAVING AN UNWORTHY ACFT ON THE GND. DISPATCH MADE INQUIRIES; BUT THE BOTTOM-LINE IS THIS ACFT WENT FLYING WITH A KNOWN FLT CTL PROB; STAUNCHLY RPTED BY PRECEDING FLT CREW. MAKES ME RECONSIDER SENDING MY FAMILY ON THE MARGINAL MAINT OF THIS ACR; PARTICULARLY THE A320. PLEASE RESPOND TO MAINT TOLERANCE ON THE KNOWN ANOMALY.
