Narrative:

During approach on the glen rose arrival; approaching delmo; we received a runway change from runway 18R to runway 17C. In the process of changing the runways in the GPS; the aircraft went into heading hold; resulting in the aircraft not making the turn from delmo to tevon. Once the first officer realized the problem a couple mi past delmo; she immediately made a l-hand turn direct tevon. Approach control advised us that this happens a lot on this model type aircraft. Completed the approach and landing uneventfully.
