Narrative:
Slide at door 1R was inadvertently deployed upon landing. When I heard the announcement to disarm doors; I grabbed the handle and the slide deployed. At that point I realized I had grabbed the wrong handle. Even though I looked at the door before opening it; I thought that I had the right handle. After the slide deployed; I blocked the door and redirected passenger as they were deplaning. The purser called the cockpit and I remained by my door until all passenger were off. Shortly thereafter the customer service representative; mechanic and supervisor arrived.
