Narrative:
Briefly; before TOD briefed and set up runway 27R approach. Before XA00 local; it is the noise abatement preferred runway and the runway indicated by ATIS clearance: direct ock depart ock 075 vectors runway 27L. We re-briefed for 27L. Clearance: rt turn 270 now expect runway 27R; contact director with call sign only. Re-installed runway 27R clearance: left to 180 then 300; intercept localizer; no runway indicated at that time. Clearance. Report established on localizer. As we intercepted runway 27R localizer; approach advised we had overshot localizer; turn left 220 intercept runway 27L localizer. We complied; short discussion on mix-up on assigned runway. Landing runway 27L uneventful; no further reference to it from tower or ground control. All three crew present concurred the mistake was not in the cockpit.
