Narrative:

I was back checking amt installation of r-hand nosewheel assembly. Installation per maintenance manual and work card was accomplished with no problems encountered. I know for a fact that the tang washer was installed. Visible thread count was normal. No side play on installation. No known PIREPS. Allegation of improper installation made by station ZZZ ground personnel during 'unscheduled amt walkaround.'

Title: A B767-300ER MECHANIC DOUBLE CHECKING ANOTHER MECHANIC'S R/H NOSEWHEEL ASSY INSTALLATION WAS INFORMED HE MAY ALSO HAVE MISSED THAT THE AXLE SPACER WAS LEFT OUT.

Narrative: I WAS BACK CHKING AMT INSTALLATION OF R-HAND NOSEWHEEL ASSEMBLY. INSTALLATION PER MAINT MANUAL AND WORK CARD WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO PROBS ENCOUNTERED. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE TANG WASHER WAS INSTALLED. VISIBLE THREAD COUNT WAS NORMAL. NO SIDE PLAY ON INSTALLATION. NO KNOWN PIREPS. ALLEGATION OF IMPROPER INSTALLATION MADE BY STATION ZZZ GND PERSONNEL DURING 'UNSCHEDULED AMT WALKAROUND.'
