Narrative:
During preflight duties on aircraft APU automatic shutdown with packs running. Packs filled cabin with oil smoke. Flight crew worked with maintenance to resolve maintenance for 2+ hours. Captain and first officer became nauseated with headaches and sore throats along with burning in the eyes. Crew desk informed of en route sick list.

Narrative: DURING PREFLT DUTIES ON ACFT APU AUTO SHUTDOWN WITH PACKS RUNNING. PACKS FILLED CABIN WITH OIL SMOKE. FLT CREW WORKED WITH MAINT TO RESOLVE MAINT FOR 2+ HRS.
