Narrative:
2 or 3 hours in-flight the captain called me and said; 'do you smell something burning?' at first I did not; then the #5 (sitting at 2L) and #3 ran up and said there is an electrical burning smell. It was very strong with a hazy smoke. We contacted the pilots; turned off all circuit breakers; lights; coffee makers; video equipment and waited for 5-10 mins. Finally the smoke dissipated and we landed safely in ZZZ with cabin lighting off. I am concerned with all B757 aircraft maintenance issues. I feel they are running these planes into the ground without proper maintenance checks. They are constantly just deferring maintenance issues and letting the aircraft go from place to place to place. Management doesn't care because they want a quick turnover. This whole month there has been maintenance issues with all B757S. Somebody better check this out before a plane goes down.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT REPORTS ELECTRICAL ODOR AND SMOKE ABOARD B757. FEELS THE INCIDENT IS A RESULT OF ACR'S DECISION TO PRIORITIZE SCHEDULE INTEGRITY ABOVE ACFT MAINTENANCE.
