Narrative:
The lvk tower operator delivered a stream of belligerent; aggressive; and wholly unprofessional remarks to me from my initial call up outside of D until parking. Initial call-up was 4.7 NM due south of the airport; outside of class D. I was receiving flight following from norcal and had reported lvk in sight at 8.5 NM out. Norcal was slow to handoff. The lvk controller accused me of violating his airspace; then was unable to locate me south of the airport. I have a habit of mispronouncing my call sign for brevity -- aircraft X; I say 'oh' instead 'zero' for one of the digits. The controller corrected many xmissions I made; also berating me for using the full call sign instead of just the last 3 digits. I was rattled and confirmed which parallel runway I was cleared to land on; which released another onslaught of aggressive call sign corrections. They continued throughout the taxi phase until I arrived at transient parking. I am an experienced pilot and am convinced that the grossly inappropriate remarks would have disturbed and distraction a beginner pilot to the point an accident or incursion would have happened.

Title: AA5 PLT LNDG LVK REPORTED UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR BY ATC.
Narrative: THE LVK TWR OPERATOR DELIVERED A STREAM OF BELLIGERENT; AGGRESSIVE; AND WHOLLY UNPROFESSIONAL REMARKS TO ME FROM MY INITIAL CALL UP OUTSIDE OF D UNTIL PARKING. INITIAL CALL-UP WAS 4.7 NM DUE S OF THE ARPT; OUTSIDE OF CLASS D. I WAS RECEIVING FLT FOLLOWING FROM NORCAL AND HAD RPTED LVK IN SIGHT AT 8.5 NM OUT. NORCAL WAS SLOW TO HDOF. THE LVK CTLR ACCUSED ME OF VIOLATING HIS AIRSPACE; THEN WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE ME S OF THE ARPT. I HAVE A HABIT OF MISPRONOUNCING MY CALL SIGN FOR BREVITY -- ACFT X; I SAY 'OH' INSTEAD 'ZERO' FOR ONE OF THE DIGITS. THE CTLR CORRECTED MANY XMISSIONS I MADE; ALSO BERATING ME FOR USING THE FULL CALL SIGN INSTEAD OF JUST THE LAST 3 DIGITS. I WAS RATTLED AND CONFIRMED WHICH PARALLEL RWY I WAS CLRED TO LAND ON; WHICH RELEASED ANOTHER ONSLAUGHT OF AGGRESSIVE CALL SIGN CORRECTIONS. THEY CONTINUED THROUGHOUT THE TAXI PHASE UNTIL I ARRIVED AT TRANSIENT PARKING. I AM AN EXPERIENCED PLT AND AM CONVINCED THAT THE GROSSLY INAPPROPRIATE REMARKS WOULD HAVE DISTURBED AND DISTR A BEGINNER PLT TO THE POINT AN ACCIDENT OR INCURSION WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.
