Narrative:
I was returning to my target field to continue spray operations in the 6 mi area. On the return trip; I noticed an air tractor working in an adjacent field. I attempted to get his attention by putting smoke out and calling on the company business radio to the air tractor. (Some of our competitor's pilots flying air tractors monitor our business radio from time to time.) I got started on the spray run and this is where we got close to each other. The air tractor pulled out of the field; arc the turned into me and back into the field he was spraying. He was too low for me to continue the spray run. I pulled up and turned to the left away from his turning arc. The air tractor did not take evasive action. We should have timed the run so as the air tractor and I would be on the opposite ends of the field.

I PULLED UP AND TURNED TO THE L AWAY FROM HIS TURNING ARC. THE AIR TRACTOR DID NOT TAKE EVASIVE ACTION. WE SHOULD HAVE TIMED THE RUN SO AS THE AIR TRACTOR AND I WOULD BE ON THE OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE FIELD.
