Narrative:
On descent; crew deviated south of course on arrival (deviation for WX). WX radar returns indicated heavy rain. Steering clear of cells; aircraft encountered moderate turbulence and heavy rain. Uneventful landing at ZZZ and crew left airplane unaware of hail damage. Duty officer was informed by maintenance that aircraft suffered damage. Duty officer then phoned captain and first officer. Captain and first officer went out to the airplane and noticed hail damage to radome; left landing light; top of right engine pylon. Crew then filed a flight safety report and both are filing NASA reports.
