Narrative:
After cleared for the option runway 17 and completing touch and go; I was now climbing out departing to the south. Other aircraft on GPS approach to runway 35. Controller asks could I go east or west. I reply by asking; which direction and didn't receive a direction. Contacted tower again stating position and still looking for traffic and then me and other aircraft passed rapidly in opposing directions.

Narrative: AFTER CLRED FOR THE OPTION RWY 17 AND COMPLETING TOUCH AND GO; I WAS NOW CLBING OUT DEPARTING TO THE S. OTHER ACFT ON GPS APCH TO RWY 35. CTLR ASKS COULD I GO E OR W. I REPLY BY ASKING; WHICH DIRECTION AND DIDN'T RECEIVE A DIRECTION. CONTACTED TWR AGAIN STATING POS AND STILL LOOKING FOR TFC AND THEN ME AND OTHER ACFT PASSED RAPIDLY IN OPPOSING DIRECTIONS.
