Narrative:
After run-up on tarmac; after confusing instructions; crossed edge of runway 26L going to runway 26R via taxiway. ATC (tower) then requested my phone calling tower; and criticized me for crossing edge of runway without a clearance; which is the only way to get to the taxiway. I think my mistake was not talking to ground before moving the aircraft after run-up; even though the controller did not clearly tell me where to do the run-up. There was no traffic; however; it was an active runway. No traffic visually or on TCAS in the air or on the tarmac. Runway and tarmac contiguous; and markings very poor and weathered severely. To control the airport in this area; better markings and more help and warnings from the ground controller to advise pilots of the proximity to the runway 26L before the taxiway to 26R. Clearer instructions for run-up area would also help.

Title: AN SR22 PILOT EXPERIENCED A RUNWAY INCURSION AT PUB.
Narrative: AFTER RUN-UP ON TARMAC; AFTER CONFUSING INSTRUCTIONS; CROSSED EDGE OF RUNWAY 26L GOING TO RUNWAY 26R VIA TAXIWAY.
