Narrative:
Encountered an engine oil pressure problem on 1 engine. Contacted flight control and maintenance control on the radio. Captain requested to divert back to ZZZ. Crew shut an engine down. Per far/fom flight supposed to divert to the nearest suitable airport which was ZZZ1 at that time. At captain request; flight came back to ZZZ. Flight declared an emergency and landed without any incident.

Title: AN A300 EXPERIENCED LOW OIL PRESSURE IN ONE ENG AND SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE. THE CAPT ELECTED TO RETURN TO HIS DEPT ARPT.
Narrative: ENCOUNTERED AN ENG OIL PRESSURE PROB ON 1 ENG. CONTACTED FLT CTL AND MAINT CTL ON THE RADIO. CAPT REQUESTED TO DIVERT BACK TO ZZZ. CREW SHUT AN ENG DOWN.
