Narrative:
About 40 mi west of ZZZ at FL350; ECAM blue hydraulic low system pressure; followed ECAM and QRH procedures; located blue hydraulic elevator pump circuit breaker and found it popped. ACARS message sent to maintenance about mechanical problem; received reply from maintenance that they would have the mechanical problem checked out in ZZZ1; and to enter into the maintenance log. Received ACARS message from dispatch about 15-20 mins later; dispatcher's message was that after reviewing the problem maybe it would be a good idea to return to ZZZ2; because aircraft would be grounded in ZZZ1; and what did I think. After conferring with first officer; we decided to return to ZZZ2; sent ACARS to dispatcher about the return; and he replied that he agreed. Notified flight attendant's about the hydraulic problem and advised them it would be a normal approach and landing and we would be landing in about 1 hour. Made PA announcement to passenger about the mechanical problem and explained what was wrong; and we would be returning to ZZZ2 and we would be making a normal approach and landing at ZZZ2. Reviewed landing procedures and landing distances in QRH; approach and landing were normal.

Title: AN A320 FLT CREW EXPERIENCED ECAM MESSAGE 'BLUE HYD LOW SYS PRESS.' THEY COORDINATED WITH MAINTENANCE AND DECIDED TO RETURN TO THEIR DEPT ARPT.
Narrative: ABOUT 40 MI W OF ZZZ AT FL350; ECAM BLUE HYD LOW SYS PRESSURE; FOLLOWED ECAM AND QRH PROCS; LOCATED BLUE HYD ELEVATOR PUMP CIRCUIT BREAKER AND FOUND IT POPPED. ACARS MESSAGE SENT TO MAINT ABOUT MECHANICAL PROB; RECEIVED REPLY FROM MAINT THAT THEY WOULD HAVE THE MECHANICAL PROB CHKED OUT IN ZZZ1; AND TO ENTER INTO THE MAINT LOG. RECEIVED ACARS MESSAGE FROM DISPATCH ABOUT 15-20 MINS LATER; DISPATCHER'S MESSAGE WAS THAT AFTER REVIEWING THE PROB MAYBE IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO RETURN TO ZZZ2; BECAUSE ACFT WOULD BE GNDED IN ZZZ1; AND WHAT DID I THINK. AFTER CONFERRING WITH FO; WE DECIDED TO RETURN TO ZZZ2; SENT ACARS TO DISPATCHER ABOUT THE RETURN; AND HE REPLIED THAT HE AGREED. NOTIFIED FLT ATTENDANT'S ABOUT THE HYD PROB AND ADVISED THEM IT WOULD BE A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG AND WE WOULD BE LNDG IN ABOUT 1 HR. MADE PA ANNOUNCEMENT TO PAX ABOUT THE MECHANICAL PROB AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG; AND WE WOULD BE RETURNING TO ZZZ2 AND WE WOULD BE MAKING A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG AT ZZZ2. REVIEWED LNDG PROCS AND LNDG DISTANCES IN QRH; APCH AND LNDG WERE NORMAL.
