Right pack deferred. On climb out; received cargo door cas. Also got left pack overpressure cas. Reset left pack per QRH. Got another pack overpressure. Returned to field. Landed without incident. Found cargo door handle ajar about 3 inches.

Title: MULTIPLE CAS MESSAGES CAUSE CRJ FLT CREW TO RETURN TO DEP ARPT WHERE THEY LEARN CARGO DOOR WAS IMPROPERLY CLOSED.
Narrative: R PACK DEFERRED. ON CLBOUT; RECEIVED CARGO DOOR CAS. ALSO GOT L PACK OVERPRESSURE CAS. RESET L PACK PER QRH. GOT ANOTHER PACK OVERPRESSURE. RETURNED TO FIELD. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND CARGO DOOR HANDLE AJAR ABOUT 3 INCHES.
