Narrative:
I used the environmental splices to replace the hot plate and thermistor on the grimes-1 coffeemaker after I was told that I could by the lead. I was made aware that the part was not approved during a crew meeting on sep/xa/07. I was told the parts were ok to use during a previous crew meeting; however; I do not remember the date of that meeting.
