Narrative:
During climb out the oil pressure on #2 engine started falling rapidly. We declared an emergency and turned back. When power was reduced to idle the oil pressure returned to normal and aircraft was landed without further events.

Title: AN MD80 ENG OIL PRESSURE FELL RAPIDLY AFTER TKOF. AN EMER WAS DECLARED WITH A RETURN TO LAND. THE ENG OPERATED AT NORMAL OIL PRESSURE UNDER REDUCED THRUST.
Narrative: DURING CLBOUT THE OIL PRESSURE ON #2 ENG STARTED FALLING RAPIDLY. WE DECLARED AN EMER AND TURNED BACK. WHEN PWR WAS REDUCED TO IDLE THE OIL PRESSURE RETURNED TO NORMAL AND ACFT WAS LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER EVENTS.
